Chicka Chicka 123 tree is made out of a road cone that
was donated to our class. We spray painted it with brown paint and placed self sticking magnetic strips to the side
of the cone. We topped the cone with a silk plant.
When I Play and Work in the
Math Center I am Learning:
*One to one correspondence-one peg for one hole,
an essential math counting concept. *To make patterns and repeat patterns, math concepts. *Possible left to right
progression, a reading skill. *Concepts of addition as I add one peg at a time. *Colors *Symmetry, shapes,
order and design. *Eye-hand coordination, counting skills. *To classify things. *To notice details and likenesses and differences in objects and mathematics. *Concepts of color, size, and shape. *Numerical concepts of more and less. *Logical reasoning.
